Jake Malone, PGA Head Golf Professional

I started the game of golf at the age of 10, playing on the weekends with my father and quickly grew into a favorite sport. I first started competing in high school and continued to Chabot College in the CCCAA before transferring to Cal State East Bay where I played as a Pioneer.

With collegiate experience coupled with my studies in Kinesiology, I can help golfers understand the science of body movement relative to golf mechanics. I am a PGA apprentice, TPI Level 1 Certification, and a U.S. Kids Golf certified coach.

Ian Riccardi, PGA

I have loved golf since I learned to play as a kid. As I got older, I got into tournament golf and played on my high school golf team to make the league finals every year. I then competed for San Jose City College for two years before transferring to San Jose State—Go Sparty! Now that I graduated college I want to share my passion for golf and experience playing competitively. I have always had a passion for the sport and want to pass that on to others as a teacher and coach at Bay View. I am a PGA apprentice and a U.S. Kids Golf certified coach.

Abe Roof

Welcome to the Bay View Academy! I have been working closely with junior golf in the South Bay for a decade, from building junior golf programs to coaching players of all levels (Go LAHS Eagles!). I’m thrilled to now be able to offer the best junior golf experience in the Bay Area. Bay View has the facilities—all grass driving range, Trackman training facility, challenging, pristine and diverse course conditions—and great coaches, to get your kids into the game and to want to keep moving up in skill. If you think Milpitas is far, give us a try and I’m sure the extra 5-10 minute drive will be worth it. If you’re near Milpitas, you’ve got a great resource in your backyard. See you at the top of the hill!
